Formative Grades: 23%
Final Exam: 20%
Summative grades include unit tests and larger projects. Please note that some project may be only 50 points or half a summative grade.
Formative grades include quizzes, literacy assignments, lab reports, warm ups, small projects, and daily work grades among other things.
Daily Work grades are generally give per unit or sometimes two per unit depending on the course. They include worksheets, labs, and other smaller assignments. Assignment grades will be averaged together to form one grade.
Test Retakes: If a student earns a 69 or lower on a unit test, then the student may retake that unit test to earn a maximum of a 70 on the assessment. The test retake must be completed within one week after the test grade on the original assessment has been shown to the student.
